We decided to go to the zoo this past weekend. Did you know that the zoo in I.F. closes at 4:00 on a Saturday? Who would have thought that! Haha anyways... unfortunately we got there at 4:05 so we went to the park and rides instead. If you say "cheese" to Emmett he puts on his best smile for the camera, which is the wrinkled nose! This silly boy is crawling everywhere now! The flopping like a fish/ worm move is gone. Good thing we have video of that stage! It sure was funny! Emmett is now mastering walking around the furniture and starting to get brave with standing for just a few seconds without holding onto anything. Walking is right around the corner for sure! He has been learning sign language... we do lots of signs for him but the only one that he seems to have mastered is the milk sign. It looks like you are milking a cow with one hand out in front of you. Emmett has sort of turned it into the sign he makes when he wants food/milk/or drink. It is pretty sweet when he is laying in your lap and pulls his bottle out of his mouth, looks up at you and does the milk sign and then puts his bottle back into his mouth. Smart little squirt!

Spaced out! What else is new? haha

He would rather go up the slide than down it. He was going crazy with all of the kids around him! He was loving watching everyone playing and wanted to be a big boy too!

Poor baby got a black eye due to a minor crash with great-grandma's highchair... lets just say it wasn't very forgiving to his face! He likes to open his "crunchies" and pour them all over the floor! Naughty baby..

This was Emmett's first day at the park.

He wasn't so sure about how the grass felt on his hands and feet. He kept trying to lift his feet off of the grass because it was tickling him so bad haha.

My Tulips were so pretty this year so I took some pictures of Emmett in front of them! :)

Mr. Bucket Head in his walker!
