Proud mommy moment: Emmett's first soccer game! He wasn't quite sure about going out on the field at the start of the game. He hit heads with another little player not even 15 seconds into the game and got a big goose egg on his eyebrow. He really didn't want to go back and play after that happened but he toughened up like a champ and went back in. There were a few fits because kids were taking the ball away from Emmett and then it clicked in his little brain that THIS is what soccer was all about and my little aggressive player came out. He started going for the ball and even scored 4 times! It was such a hilarious sight watching these little kids try and figure out exactly what was going on.

Kids are great.

Sometimes you just have to have a dance party in the middle of the game!

Score!!

Adalyn's Blessing Day

I am so lucky. We are blessed. Two happy, beautiful babies have been given to us to love and teach. Their blessing days have been both special and unique, because their daddy gives such personal and amazing blessings. I am convinced that Adalyn is as beautiful on the inside as the out. She is going to be a kind and loving soul whose presence will affect everyone for the better. I can't wait to watch her grow and become the beautiful woman that she is destined to be. Love you Adalyn, love momma

Addie's newborn pictures by her momma

We had some wonderful pictures taken for us in the hospital, but I wanted to take some at home myself. I feel like I captured several of my favorite facial expressions and angles that make this girl even more pretty. I hope that this helps you to see her through my eyes and understand how wonderful and beautiful that Adalyn is to her mommy :) Oh and she is snuggled up on a quilt made by her great, great, great grandma. Pretty cool!!! I love and adore my babies... especially when they are together snuggling.
