Happy Valentines Day!! These were taken last Saturday!

Emmett turned 6 months old on January 29! Where did that time go? Pregnancy seemed so long and now time is flying!! He has been such a joy in our lives. So here is a little update on M. He is growing so fast! Over 20lbs now! M is a busy boy... he wants to be upright (preferably being packed around facing outwards so that he can try to grab EVERYTHING!) We have to watch him now because he is quick and gets a hold of stuff fast! Emmett had his first experience with eating solid food a week ago. He has had carrots and I can't shovel them into his mouth fast enough. He was overly ready for food! Emmett will roll all over the living room if you let him. That's how he gets things...it is frustrating to him that he can't crawl yet. He sure tries hard but his arms and feet wont cooperate with each other yet. I think that he is super close to crawling though. He loves his bouncy/jumper chair. We got him a bumbo seat but he hates it because he doesn't want to be sitting. He is too much of a busy body! I have heard of a lot of babies sitting up by 6 months. I am not sure Emmett will ever sit up on his own because there is too many interesting things to look at and he doesn't seem to have time to sit and play with a toy. He definitely keeps me moving ALL day long! It's fun though and good exercise. I think it's only going to get worse when he gets mobile! Emmett likes the sound of his voice... he only babbles at himself in his crib after a nap. The rest of the day is full of little squawks and screams. I just have to tell myself to be patient and that it is just a phase! There is never a dull moment with him and I look forward to more milestones!

As soon as I started feeding him, I realized he had his white jammies on. There was no stopping him after we started eating! Luckily the carrots all washed out!
Staring down the carrots!

He doesn't like to be snuggled so he falls asleep in the most awkward positions!
